‘The Shooting Star’ represents LCBDD Service and Support Administration because of how it relates to our mission. People think of stars as being wishes. Our wishes are ways for our dreams, our goals, our hopes to be expressed. SSA’s help people express those wishes. Then we help people come up with plans to achieve their goals- a life of increasing capability so they may live, work, and learn in the environment of their choice. Without our hopes, without our dreams, without a plan to achieve them-we go nowhere-we accomplish nothing.
A Service and Support Administrator (SSA) is the primary point of contact for individuals who are seeking services and supports. SSA’s support individuals in determining and pursuing goals while coordinating services across multiple systems.
